Applying

What students should know before starting an application.

What are the requirements to apply to medical colleges or universities?

Start by researching your preferred institution through the Study in Bangladesh portal. Review available programs, offered courses, eligibility criteria, fee structure, and location. Then prepare clear soft copies of your original documents before you begin the online application process.

What documents do I need to apply for an institution?

Most institutions ask for soft copies of your academic certificates, mark sheets or transcripts, passport, and sometimes supporting letters or additional identification documents. PDF versions are generally the easiest format to upload and organize.

How many institutions can I apply to?

You can apply to multiple institutions through Study in Bangladesh. There is no hard limit in the choice list, although applying to a focused shortlist of around five institutions is usually a practical approach.

Do I have to pay for applying?

Applying through the Study in Bangladesh portal is free.

Processing and Offers

How applications are reviewed and how students receive admission decisions.

Who is receiving my application?

Your application is received by the designated institution or university admission section. The institution reviews your file and may contact you for counseling, clarification, or verification.

How many days does it take to process an application?

Many universities take around 15 days or more to review and process an application, although actual timing can vary by institution, program, season, and whether extra documents are needed.

How do I know that I got selected and am able to get admission?

You will receive your offer letter or admission letter through your student dashboard once the institution completes the review and decides to offer admission.

How many offer letters may I receive?

If you meet the eligibility criteria of more than one institution, you may receive multiple offer letters from the institutions where you applied.

After Selection

What happens after you receive an offer and choose an institution.

How do I confirm my admission to my desired institute?

After receiving one or more offer letters, you usually get a limited period, often up to 7 days, to accept one of them. Even if you receive multiple offers, you will only be able to confirm one final admission.

What happens after accepting an offer letter?

Once you accept an offer, the designated institution or university team will contact you to explain the next steps, which may include payment, visa documents, reporting instructions, or final document checks.
